上海国际汽车城位于嘉定安亭，总体规划占地68平方公里。其中核心贸易区规划占地6.2平方公里。贸易区内，集汽车贸易、销售、展示、博览、旅游为一体。汽车城零部件配套区目标扩展到8平方公里。建设国际一流的赛车场4.5平方公里。建设汽车研发基地2平方公里。总投资500亿人民币左右，最终将汽车城建成中国乃至亚太地区汽车贸易的核心市场和重要集散地。
Located in An Ting Town of Jia Ding District, shanghai International Automobile City covers a planned area of 68 sq.km. Its central trade zone planned to occupy 6.2 sq.km with characteristics of automobile trade, displaying, exhibition and traveling. Spare parts manufacturing zone planned to extend to 8 sq.km. Also in the Automobile city, there should construct a 4.5 sq.km.s' first-class international F-1 court and 2 sq.km.s' automobile research base.
