Till now, Hongqiao Development Zone has successfully
hosted over 340 exhibitions, among which 250 are international ones
and 90 are domestic ones and received more than 9 million guests
from home and abroad. More than 1,000 domestic and foreign business
organizations and companies have set up offices in the Zone. With
various exhibitions and numerous customers, the trade and commerce
activities in Hongqiao are becoming more and more frequent.

Foreign Investment
·虹桥开发区经批准的项目合同投资总额已近28亿美元；
·外商实际投资额22.6亿美元；
·投资项目有：展馆、办公楼、公寓、宾馆、餐饮、娱乐、商业、信息咨询等。
·投资国别地区较广，其中港台地区占56.42%,日本占16.05%,新加坡占8.16%,美国占7.58%。
其中跨国公司有:美国3M公司、通用电气公司、芬兰诺基亚公司、瑞典爱立信公司、韩国LG集团等。
Approved by the government, the total volume of contract investment
almost reached USD 2.8 billion. Invested projects were exhibition
venues, office buildings, apartments, hotels, restaurants, catering,
business, information consultation and etc. with investors coming
from different countries, Hong Kong and Taiwan occupies 56.42%,
Japan 16.05%, Singapore 8.16%, U.S.A. 7.58% respectively. Numerous
multi-national companies set up offices in our zone: 3M and GE from
USA, Nokia from Finland, Ericsson from Sweden, LG Group from P.O.
Korea and etc.
