　　　　　　·上海虹桥开发区1979年开始规划，1983年开始建设，是中国唯一以外贸中心为特征集展览、展示、办公、居住、
　　　　　　　餐饮、购物为一体的新兴商贸区和商务区。开发区还辟有驻沪领馆区。经过10多年的开发建设，目前开发区万商
　　　　　　　云集，商贸活动频繁，呈现出一派欣欣向荣的景象。九十年代被评为上海十大新夜景、新景观。
　　　　　　·开发区由上海虹桥经济技术开发区联合发展有限公司统一负责开发建设和经营管理。
Planned in 1979 and started to construct in 1983, Shanghai Hongqiao Development Zone is China's exclusive newly developed commercial and business area characteristic of foreign trade and featured by exhibition, displaying, office, residence, catering and shopping. In the development zone, there are several plots allocated for foreign consulates in Shanghai to build their respective consulate premises. Through more than ten years' development and construction, now Hongqiao Development Zone is prospering with thousands of businessmen and frequent business and trade activities. In 1990s, the zone was elected as one of Shanghai's "ten new night views" and "ten new sceneries".
